Fit and forget
July 1st 2004

Air Cleaning Systems (ACS) has added a new model to its range of Fit and Forget filters for the control of oil emulsion mist that offers an efficiency

of 99.99%.

Designed primarily for the machining industry, the OMF has an air handling capacity of 1000m3/h and is intended as a stand-alone filter to service one or two extract positions. Its aim is to control oil/emulsion mist and smoke at source from machining operations such as turning, hobbing, grinding and boring. It is also suitable for the removal of overspray from mould spray-ing, strip coating and so on.

The filter offers two inlet positions for ease of installation. The energy saving backward curved fan is said to offer a total added state pressure of 500PA that will ensure rapid removal of pollution from the machine enclosure or canopy. Gauges monitor cartridge condition.
