Latest semiautomatic filler meets dairy needs July 1st 2005 Bag-in-box specialist Rapak has supplied a semiautomatic filling machine for the packaging of milk at Irish dairy Arrabawn Co-Op. Installation of the new style Autokap marks the filler’s first use for a dairy application in Europe.
The Autokap 620 FC Dairy Filler has a number of features to allow easy maintenance and increased hygiene during the filling process.
A redesigned filling head is mechanically simpler, with fewer moving parts, a reduced number of seals and a modified fill valve, making the machine more durable and increasing its long term reliability.
The filler has been manufactured to EHEDG (European Hygienic Engineering Design Group) specifications to enable ultra-clean filling of a wide range of products.
A choice of filling options is available. Arrabawn is filling the bag inside the box, but plastic, stainless steel or roller packaging tables can be specified for insertion of bags into boxes after filling. More articles from Rapak: |
