PLUG AND CUT

The ESAB CaddyCut unit offers small workshops a portable plasma cutting facility.

Provided there is a 230V single phase mains supply and 5.2bar, 118L/min compressed air supply, the system offers a plug-and-cut facility capable of clean cuts on any conductive material. Cutting capacity in mild steel or aluminium is to 12mm thickness.

CaddyCut is easy to use. Its powerful touch-start system, for example, allows a paper drawing to be used as a template and cut through without additional marking.

Air pressure is critical, so the unit has a built-in pressure regulator that automatically senses correct air pressure and signals via a green light before cutting begins.
