Relief valves
July 1st 2005 Hoerbiger‘s ATEX-certified relief valves are designed to provide optimal protection to personnel and equipment against the effects of dust, oil mist or gas explosions.
An integrated flame absorber intercepts jet flames that occur during an explosion and reduces the exit temperature of explosion gases. Fast-acting, the valves open at a standard set pressure of 0.05bar and are also suitable for relief action in closed spaces.
Their robust design is said to allow them to withstand explosions without damage. They close tight after explosion, preventing secondary explosion and enable uninterrupted operation. More articles from HOERBIGER UK LTD: |
