Manual polishing is a demanding job with health, noise and dust hazards, for which it is becoming increasingly difficult to recruit operators. Surtech has teamed up with a leading manufacturer of automatic polishing machines and robots to offer a wide range of grinding, deburring and polishing robots. It can supply single or multi-robot cells that include linishing, deburring and polishing heads, magazines and handling systems. Sensybelt and Sensybuff compliant, constant pressure controls are said to reduce consumables costs by up to 50%, while highly specialised software allows programmes for hundreds of parts to be stored. Calling up each programme takes just seconds.
