Time Electronics has introduced Loop-Mates, separate handheld transmitter simulator and signal indicator units for the process industry.

The advantage of splitting functions (source and measure) is that both ends of a process loop can be checked simultaneously. It is possible to leave Loop-Mate1 automatically stepping up/down the span at one end of a loop, then move to the other end and connect to Loop-Mate 2. This enables the engineer to verify the loop cabling.

Transmitter and indicator can be calibrated either in or out of the process loop.

Easy to use, the instruments have an accuracy of 0.1 and 0.05%.
