The surface treatment technology incorporated into Tsubaki’s new DP series chain is said to provide significantly improved anticorrosion performance in a stronger, longer lasting chain that, with no chromium content, protects people and the environment.

In tests, the companys says the DP chain endured salt water spray for more than 500h, providing five times the anti-corrosion performance e of zinc plated chain and 20 times the performance of nickel-plated types.

The chain is said to offer the same strength and wear resistance as standard carbon steel chain, but with a double barrier against corrosion.
