July 1st 2005 Constructed from Celmar polypropylene reinforced with FRP laminate, process and storage tanks from Forbes have been in continuous use at Lea & Perrins sauce in Worcester for more than 30 years and a recent inspection allows them to remain in service for a further inspection period.
Ken Law, who inspected the tanks, says “They are in remarkable condition considering the highly aggressive environment they are continually exposed to.” The tanks are up to 3.8m dia with 45° deep coned bases mounted on integral FRP skirts. More articles from Forbes: |
