NEW CALIBRATION LAB
July 1st 2004

A new, enlarged and modernised UKAS accredited calibration laboratory has been opened by Norbar Torque Tools to cope with demand for its services.

A UKAS certificate is supplied as standard with all Norbar measuring systems to 6800Nm and is optional for torque wrenches and torque multipliers within this range. The service is also available for existing torque measurement equipment and torque tools, whether of Norbar manufacture or not.

Peoples lives may depend on the accuracy with which a bolt is tightened which is why Norbar spends a lot of time and effort on calibration and accuracy of measurement. It believes it now has the largest and most modern factory in Europe exclusively devoted to the development and production of torque tightening and measuring equipment.
