Clearly labelled November 1st 2004 A handheld labelling system from Positive ID is used by Fläkt Woods to identify components at its Colchester factory.
The company had identified a problem in the labelling system it used to identify aluminium impeller blades in the engineering shop. Positive ID designed a label that used background colour and preprint so that three sets of important information could be printed on demand in a set format size, pitch angle and order number using a two-line handheld label printer.
The new system will ensure staff and customers can clearly identify the blades and will help the business comply with ISO 9000 standards. More articles from Positive ID Labelling Systems: |
