Consistent finish
November 1st 2003 Leicester-based Stevenson Textile Machines, specialist in the reconditioning and rebuilding of circular knitting machinery, has installed an Abrasive Developments Supablast wet blast cabinet for the cleaning and surface preparation of small, complex components.
The machine supersedes the laborious hand cleaning of components and has not only speeded up the cleaning operation, but achieves a more consistent, dust-free and cleaner surface finish.
A low-cost machine, specially designed for the small production unit or workshop, the Supablast simultaneously blast cleans and degreases parts using an abrasive/water mixture delivered under adjustable pressure. Noise levels are described as low. More articles from ISPC Vacu-Blast Limited: |
