NEW TECHNICAL DATASHEET March 1st 2005 Crane Electronics’ range of CheckStar rotary transducers are used for the dynamic torque and angle measurement of all continuous drive and impulse tools.
A new datasheet provides information on the physical attributes and application of all CheckStars.
Crane says it is essential for all companies that intend to specify new transducers to fit in-line between the assembly tool and the fastener.
CheckStars measure the actual torque applied and the angular rotation of the fastener under production conditions. Its contact system ensures connection is always maintained between the read-out and the strain gauges, giving reliable readings even under vibration and shock conditions.
The device can be used as part of a Crane UTA torque system, enabling plug-and-play operation with Crane readout devices. More articles from Crane Electronics Ltd: |
