Fast lead times, reduced costs and reliability are some of the benefits that Modular Automation says users of its new Modular Assembly Cell (MAC) can expect.

The cam operated assembly system provides users throughout industry with a simple, inexpensive assembly cell for a wide range of applications – off the shelf.

It is operated by two cams that, with the addition of feed systems, grippers, sensors and appropriate tooling, can be configured to assemble a wide range of products.

It uses a standard rotary table with up to 12 index stations, comes prewired with Bus connections and is PC controlled.

Customised units can be supplied within a few weeks.
