Uses less oil
May 1st 2004 EFDs MicroCoat MC800 lubrication system enables metal stampers to coat stock of less than 1in up to 48in wide with a fine, consistent film of oil. Even coverage reduces the need for tool sharpening and maintenance, while lowering oil use by as much as 90%.
The system uses low volume low pressure technology to apply a uniform coating of oil without overspray or mist. Modular design allows the user to configure the system according to requirements.
The MC800 consists of a compact valve controller, one or two fluid manifolds, fluid flow controls and up to eight precision MicroCoat valves. Each controller will accept two fluid manifolds, and each manifold will accommodate flow controls for up to four valves.
