The latest addition to the CimCore 3000i portable articulated measuring arm range, from EuroPac Metrology, is said to achieve 0.005mm in the single point sphere test. The company believes this breaks new ground for portable high tolerance measurement.

Features include infinite rotation of principal axes, and weight of just 6.8kg due to the units inert carbon graphite construction, and intelligent probe recognition.

CimCore 3000i also can be specified with arm lengths of 1.8, 2.4, 2.8, 3 or 3.6m and each arm will automatically compensate for different probes.
