Flush sensor November 1st 2005 Tough but accurate sums up the newest pressure switches from ifm electronic. These new versions feature a flush sensor for aseptic processes. The new housing design packs in a host of improvements from electronic temperature compensation, improved signal evaluation as well as maintenancefree high purity ceramic cell that doesn't drift and doesn't need an elastomer O-Ring. Instead a cleverly mounted PTFE-seal ensures there is no dead space.
The new units will work in ambient temperatures of -25 to 80°C, monitoring temperatures between -25 and 125°C and can even withstand fluid as high as 145°C for periods up to one hour. More articles from ifm electronic Limited: |
