To maintain its reputation for reliable, quality products, sauce producer Panesar Foods has invested in metal detection equipment from S+S Inspection.

It's used for both in-production and end of line product inspection to ensure compliance with HACCP.

All sauces and pastes are checked for metal contamination using an S+S Liquiscan in-line metal detector between the production area and the filling line where two S+S conveyor-based units are used at the end of the filling line as a final check before capping. This approach ensures no metal contaminated product leaves the factory.

An Auto-Teach facility allows set up to be carried out by even the least experienced. Later this year, Panesar will be installing S+S metal detectors on new production lines.
