Robot systems
January 1st 2007

KUKA.Plast GUI from KUKA Automation + Robotics is a userfriendly graphical interface which ensures jointed-arm robots can be programmed and controlled as simply and quickly as linear solutions.

It is designed to make KUKA robots more productive in tasks such as demoulding, deburring and flame machining where they can be used to automate a variety of handling and finishing tasks.

KUKA says the interface reduces the time needed by operators to familiarise themselves with the system. A high degree of safety is ensured as all entries made by the operator are checked for plausibility.

Standard sequences can be preprogrammed and retrieved at the touch of a button; complex versions can be created using menu-guided, plain text programming.
