Speed & traceability May 1st 2006 A new barcode scanner from Sick (UK) provides engineers with line speed and product traceability.
Short read times and an impressive depth of field enable the CLV420 to be used on demanding production lines where products, tote boxes and other conveyor-borne articles have to be tracked for quality, scheduling and traceability purposes. The scanner is also suited to companies that use print-and-apply labelling machines.
Features include: CAN-bus compatibility; two exit-window options (side view or inline); and auxiliary RS232 connection interface for other devices.
