Torque Test
May 1st 2006

Crane Electronics' CapStar II is the company's latest digital torque tester for accurate measurement of bottle top torque.

The portable tool has a 200 date and time stamped reading memory and can download data to a pc or printer.

It also incorporates a programmable torque threshold for fast and easy testing.

CapStar II has been designed for use in the food, beverage cosmetics and pharmaceuticals industries and can measure both tightening and releasing torque. Containers and bottles to be tested are placed in an adjustable fixture which is capable of damping circular or unusual shapes from 10 to 130mm dia. Optional long pegs are available for taller bottles.
