Free handbook introduced
July 1st 2004 Defects identified in an assembly process at a late stage can carry a huge cost burden, which is why Atlas Copco Tools has published a new, free handbook on Error-proofed production.
Containing diagrams and in-plant photographs that show real life situations, the book is divided into five sections: the five tightening process control steps towards zero fault joint fastening; paperless tool management and process auditing; a new way of tightening; statistics and how they are used when checking tools and the production process; and error-proofing case studies.
