M.J.Maillis, the Nottingham based complete end-of-line packaging solutions specialists, has launched a new choice in friction weld hand tools.

The Digi-Smart, which boasts a digital control touch pad, ergonomic design - and a weight of 3.8k including battery has been designed specifically to minimise hand and arm-type injuries resulting from prolonged or repetitive use - and will also simplify the strapping process.

Suitable for use with both polypropylene and polyester strapping, Digi-Smart models feature simple, reliable digital adjustment of strap tension and seal time, and are suitable for strap widths of 10mm - 16mm.

Maximum tension is 200N.

The Digi-Smart tool is suitable for use on all flay-pack type applications.
