Atlantis NDE's CYCLOPS is a fully automatic in-line system using artificial vision for the ultrasonic inspection, evaluation and monitoring of spot welds.

CYCLOPS can identify a good spot weld from a weld that is too small; stick weld; loose weld and burnt weld. The system can conduct in-line inspection of a programmed sequence of spot welds in series within current cycle times. Alternatively, depending on customer needs the system can inspect a selected set of critical spot welds in each individual part.
