Modular welding system

FastMig is a modular 3-phase 230/440V MIG/MAG industrial welding system from Kempii (UK). Its internal digital communications are said to be 10 times faster than earlier designs helping to improve weld quality.

Available in both basic and Synergic MIG/MAG versions, the unit offers a choice of technology levels through a range of six power sources (three basic and three Synergic), including 300, 400 and 500A models providing voltages of 10 to 42V.

Kempii says the power to weight ratio is good as all models are 70% lighter and 10% more power efficient than existing 'step switched' machines. Maximum power source weight is 36kg for the 500a model.

FastROOT F.A.S.T software for root pass welding provides easy, fast control of root closure, suitable for ferrous and stainless steel pipe root welding where MMA is currently used.
