Latest connector developments from LEMO are based around smaller diameter contacts yet with contact rating at a high level due to the special LEMO contact design, with the inbuilt spring ensuring continuous contact even in conditions of high vibration.

The result is that LEMO has squeezed 5 contacts into its tiny 00 series for which the plug diameter is only a nominal 6mm.

Another new product range is the T Series, a waterproof version of the B Series with the same panel hole fixings so that customers can upgrade equipment (or replace competitors’ connectors) without having to change equipment panels. The size 0T range has been launched; further sizes will follow.

A third development is the introduction of the smallest member of the LEMO M Series ratchet coupling connectors which are finding popularity as smaller alternatives to standard military connectors such as MIL C38999.
