Labels like it hot

Silver Fox has reported positive results from the most recent tests carried out on its labels – for exposure to high temperatures. The Fox-Flo labels showed no change after being subjected to a temperature of 70 degrees Celsius for 500 hours.

The tests – carried out by the UKAS-certified Environmental Test Services (ETS) – were performed in accordance with the test specification MIL-STD-202G, Method 108A. They were carried out over a three month period.

The labels continued to perform well when subjected to a temperature of 85 degrees Celsius and at 100 degrees Celsius for 500 hours – with only the white label becoming ‘a shade darker’, according to ETS.
