Traditionally contract manufacturers purchase cables & general connectors from manufacturers who serve many markets not specifically the medical market and as such cables are designed, produced and packaged in a general industrial environment. Within its own clean room environment Lorom has built a cable extrusion line and developed a water purification technique in the process, giving it total control of the sterilisation of the cables it manufactures for the medical market.
