Described by Makita as ‘more than
just a heat gun’, the new
HG651CK can generate a
hot air flow with a
temperature as
high as 650°C
which enables it
to be used for plastic welding,
tarpaulin repairs, laminate repairs, or
for soldering copper tubing, in
addition to tasks such as stripping
paint, shrinking packaging or
forming composite materials.
Weighing just 0.78kg, the gun has
14 programmed modes. These provide
tested combinations of heat and
airflow for a long list of tasks
detailed in the
operator’s
manual.

The heat gun
has three airflow
rates – minimum
250m3/min, maximum
550m3/min.

Temperature range is
from 80 to 650°C.
