In preparation for its 30th anniversary celebrations later this year,Mitutoyo has refurbished its Andover HQ, bringing it into the 21st century, and is planning a number of open days at showrooms across the country

availability of dedicated basic metrology
training, relying mainly on individual firms
providing their own particular versions to
customers, with no common standards or
recognised qualifications. Now, however,
structured dimensional measurement training
courses designed by the National Physical
Laboratory as part of its Measurement Training
program provide a recognised metrology
qualification on successful completion and are
available from approved providers at locations
across the United Kingdom.

One of the founding principles of the

in addition to surface measurement

The company is planning a number of
open days at showrroms across the country

that they want to measure, so that Mitutoyo
personnel can suggest a suitable tool or
machine that meets their exact requirements.
