Jarshire has represented IPS in this territory since 2005. Harris’ own UK-based Parts and Service operation will assume responsibility for the after-sales care of both lines, whilst long-standing former distributor, John Scholefield of Eurobalers, will act as Jarshire’s consultant for the Harris range. 

Harris UK and Jarshire are working together to expand the former’s parts stock-holding and to develop service coverage to cater for all their customers’ needs. 

Commenting, Jarshire director, Nick Jobson said: “Bringing together Harris and IPS will create a business with extensive knowledge and a wealth of experience in the supply of size reduction equipment to the waste, recovered paper and metal recycling industries. Together with Harris/IPS, we look forward to playing our part in developing an efficient and dependable sales and after-sales organisation.”

Jointly, Harris/IPS have over 100 two-ram balers in Ireland and the UK, baling a variety of materials including plastics, N/F metals, RDF, paper and board. Through Jarshire, they also offer an extensive range of open- and closed-end horizontal balers, as well as balers, shears and shredders for ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
