According to NEBOSH (The National
Examination Board in Occupational
Safety and Health), workplaces can
see reportable accident rates fall by as
much as 90% simply by giving health
and safety responsibilities to more of
their employees. Studies have shown
that worker involvement can have a
dramatic impact on the number of
accidents at work.

In the light of this, NEBOSH has
launched a new qualification – The
NEBOSH Health and Safety at Work
qualification. An introductory level
qualification, it covers practical risk
assessment and ways to control
common workplace hazards.
