Supplied on swivel castors, the unit weighs just 25kg and measures 300 x 300 x 670mm so is easily manoeuvrable. It is suitable for applications such as small fabrication shops, single welding bays with on-torch fume extraction and maintenance welding.

The unit is supplied with a 2.5m hose and magnetic foot welding nozzle. It is fitted with a BIA M filter cartridge that filters hazardous substances with more than 99% efficiency. Dual ports facilitate local extraction via hood and torch extraction from a single unit.

The filter is automatically cleaned with compressed air, providing a long filter life. Particles are collected in a dust collection drawer and can be easily removed.

The ProtectoTwin operates from a 230V mains input supply, and works with a full 1.6kW of motor power. Despite this, with the nozzle installed the noise level reaches only 70dB(A). 

Buyers can purchase a number of accessories to complement their new unit, including various nozzle shapes and sizes, all of which come with a magnetic base, and various lengths of suction hose. Also available are replacement filter cartridges and carbon brushes to help keep your unit at the top of its game.
