200th customer visit
As well as highlighting the benefits of partnership working between the sister companies, a recent Buck & Hickman Mobile Centre of Excellence visit to Brammer’s customer EDF Energy’s Torness station marked the vehicle’s 200th customer event.
The Mobile Centre of Excellence hit the road in 2014 and features interactive product displays showcasing innovations in PPE as well as hand and power tools from more than 25 world class manufacturers.
On the day of the visit, the vehicle’s displays were customised to the needs of a nuclear facility, including a popular installation of the Facom Safety Lock system. Spark resistant and restricted access tooling were also of special interest to the EDF engineers and maintenance technicians.
