Campaign deemed a success
3M reports that its SafeTea Break campaign, which was developed to engage employees in discussions about workplace health, has proved a huge success since it launched in June.
The initiative, developed in partnership with Safety Groups UK, aims to encourage health and safety managers to make the most of short periods during the day to educate staff on health topics and long latency diseases.
To date, 717 people have signed up to download their free SafeTea Break pack. They will be able to gain access to a toolbox, which comes complete with questions that will make employees think about key health risks at work that could have an impact on their breathing, hearing, touch, skin or on their muscles, bones and joints.
Companies can use the questions provided to open debate on health topics with their team and encourage staff to discuss any barriers to reduce risk in the workplace.
Adele Wills, senior marketing executive at 3M, said: “We are very excited about SafeTea Break and we have already seen a great response to the content. When trying to improve health in the workplace, it is vital employees are educated and involved throughout the entire process.
