In addition to the established features of Steitz footwear such as multiple width fittings, Vario weight dependent heel cushioning, Vitality forefoot cushioning and approval from the AGR (German Healthy Back Campaign), the 2016/17 collection also includes VARIO Multiflex soles: Reduced lever arms due to the sole design help the foot to move as naturally as possible and reduce the incidence of strains, sprains and twists.

More ESD styles are featured. Composite toe caps and metal free options include S3 models with textile midsoles and there are Gore-Tex boots with metatarsal protection (SMC).
