BSIF Product Innovation Award

This award is for products that are new and innovative and that will contribute to improvements in occupational safety and health. This year's winner was Portwest with its Peakview helmet. There were two highly commended awards: One went to BM Polyco for its Pirtek Fluid Power Glove, the second was awarded to 3M for its E-A-Rift Dual Ear Validation System. Two companies were commended – Zonzini for its Stair Climber and Retrasafe for its Retractable Ladder Stabiliser.

BSIF Service Award

This award is open to companies in the safety field who offer exceptional and innovative service solutions. It is voted for by the entrants’ own customers. This year's winner was Portwest. Two companies were highly commended: Hands HQ and The McOnie Agency; and two companies were commended –  Lighthouse Safety Training and Buck & Hickman.

BSIF Safety Excellence Award

TheSafety Excellence Award is based upon case studies submitted by members and recognises major improvements in occupational safety created in 2015/2016. The winner was Dorsavi. Acre Frameworks was highly commended.
