has motors with integrated frequency
converters, waterproof
motors and motors
without ventilation.

The company now
offers ATEX motors for use in explosive
atmospheres. Aluminium bodied, the
induction motors are available for
operation in Zones 1, 2, 21 or 22.

EX models designed for operation
in gas-laden atmospheres, for
example, are available as ‘increased
safety’ and ‘non-sparking’ versions,
respectively for ATEX categories 2G
and 3G with EX e and EX nA
protection. Choices
include single or three
phase and single or two
speed motors with
outputs of between 0.06 to 18.5kW.

The needs of ATEX categories 2D
and 3D are met by units that provide
either ignition protection from
conductive dust or ignition protection
from non-conductive dust.
