Comprehensive in-house facilities at Hepworth Fabrications offer manufacturing services in a wide range of metals and forms. Products include heavy-duty brackets, space frames, enclosures and control box housings, precision engineered, mirror polished super yacht deck fittings, plus aftermarket automotive accessories and prototypes including grilles and hinges. The company possesses a wide variety of in-house skills and services, enabling them to achieve seemingly impossible client deadlines but still at competitive prices.

Hepworth are 1st tier suppliers to the Marine, Rail and Automotive industries with accreditations including IRIS, ISO-9001:2008 and EN15085. Product Assembly is available, with capabilities ranging from the simple assembly of point of sale units to fully wired and tested electrical cabinets.

RIM Moulding facility now installed

As many of Hepworth’s current customers have both resin and metalwork requirements, especially low volume and prototype work, the recent purchase of a RIM Moulding machine now enables the company to be a one-stop-shop.

Reaction injection moulding (RIM Moulding) allows the use soft tooling, giving a significantly cheaper alternative to conventional injection moulding.  The thickness of parts can be increased, with wall thicknesses of up to 25mm. RIM moulding can produce very large parts, up to 2000mm x 1000mm x1000mm in a wide range of materials including high impact, high temperature resistant and V0 rated (fire retardant) resins.

With orders already placed from within the Automotive and Motorsport sectors, Hepworth is looking to expand into the Leisure, Retail, Medical and Electronics sectors, manufacturing anything from small electrical boxes to large automotive exterior components.
