Resources needed to increase
water treatment capacity at
its Elean straw burning
power station, it opted to
rent mobile water treatment
plant from ELGA Process
Water.

Work is being carried out
on the site so, from time to
time, the boiler has to be
taken out of service and
drained. To minimise downtime,
it must be refilled
quickly, so an extra supply of
high specification treated
make up water is required.

EPR intends to improve its
current water treatment plant
but, to minimise operational
risk, the company decided to
use the MoFi rental service
from ELGA Process Water.

The service supplies skidmounted
mobile ion
exchange plant that can treat
flows from 8 to 35m3/h and
that deliver treated water to
0.1µS/cm. Units can be
handled by a standard
forklift. Regenerated off-site,
MoFI units use no hazardous
chemicals and produce no
wastewater.
