The ACTYLUS 8100 and 8200 extend the range, which enables operations with assembly and compact manufacturing cells to take advantage of automated replenishment to ensure supplies of production items never run out.

The devices are compact, at one shelf (37cm) and two shelves high (56cm) respectively. They are suitable for use in both benchtop and wall-mounted applications, including assembly cells and individual workstations.

ACTYLUS Smart Bin Systems are said to play a key role in automating Kanban and vendor managed inventory (VMI) processes. They eliminate the need for manual bin scanning, while virtually eliminating stock-outs and rush shipments of components. The 8100 and 8200 models offer even greater flexibility.
