Manual handling of dirty mops,
which can present a significant risk
of cross contamination in hospital
cleaning, is not necessary using the
pocket mop release system from
Vikan ErgoClean.

The system attaches to the Vikan
ErgoClean trolley for simple
operation. First the Vikan ultra
microfibre mopheads clean floors to
a microscopic level, removing over
99% of dirt and bacteria commonly
associated with hospital-acquired
infections. Then, by inserting the
mop plate into the mop release, the
potentially hazardous soiled mop
releases directly into the collecting
bucket ready for laundering with no
need for manual handling.
