Stertil Stokvis is to supply
more than 250 doors and
shutters to two waste
management projects in a
contract worth almost £1.5m.

Waste 2 Resources is
constructing two waste
treatment facilities in Leyland
and Thornton in partnership
with waste processing
specialist Global Renewables.

Stertil Stokvis will supply
external doors and shutters,
including its Ultra Tough M
& I Doors, Insulated Roller
Shutters and Personnel
Doors. The Ultra Tough M &
I Door has been designed to
offer reliable performance in
rugged industrial applications.

Heavy duty side frames,
thick rubber curtain and
Windlok design form a nearairtight
seal and can resist
wind pressures to hurricane
force. A rubber profile is
incorporated into each
vertical edge of the door
curtain.When the heavy duty
front channel is closed, the
Windlok is tightly secured. As
wind pressure is put on the
door area, the door panel
locks into place. The more
pressure, the better the seal
yet the door will still operate
smoothly.
