The chemistry of semi synthetic
cutting and grinding fluids makes
minimal foaming difficult to achieve.

Master Chemical Europe believes it
has cracked the problem with its new
TRIM SC415 and SC617.

The formulation of the semisynthetic
coolants ensures low levels
of foam. Hard water tolerant, the
coolants work well in operations
such as grinding, milling, turning,
drilling and tapping. TRIM SC617
contains an extreme pressure
additive that boosts performance for
difficult-to-machine materials.

The company says that when
trialled in a 50,000L central system
consumption of TRIM SC415, by
comparison with a previous semisynthetic,
dropped by 50%.
