Flexicon has introduced an accessory
to help contractors remove push-fit
conduit fittings such as Flexilok.

The company says push-fit fittings
installers save time when terminating
conduit into an enclosure or panel
since they do not need to use a
locknut. This means that access to
the inside of the panel is not
necessary. Flexilok’s design offers a
spring-loaded fixing so that it is
secured after pushing it into the hole.

Available in a range of diameters
to fit different sized Flexilok fittings,
the new accessory allows the
contractor to release the fitting in the
future. Shaped like a metal ring, it
pushes onto the fitting, which pushes
back the spring fixing mechanism
and releases it.
