Abbey says that when Kooi Forks are used in conjunction with double deep racking systems, the warehouse capacity can be increased by 40% compared to 'single deep' warehouse operations. 

However, throughout Europe the Kooi Forks are just as likely to be supplied for the specific use of loading/unloading of vehicles, trains and trailers. The operation of loading/unloading becomes safer and more efficient as there is a significant reduction in the movement of the forklift truck and the vehicle.

There is also a faster turnaround of vehicles because loading/unloading takes place completely from one side. In addition, costly damage to vehicle beds can be eliminated; the necessity to drag the load across the vehicle bed is removed with the use of extending Kooi Telescopic Forks.

Abbey concludes that not only do the Kooi forks save time, space and money they provide a far safer operation.
