Vaisala launched the next generation humidity and temperature transmitter series HMD60 with two new products: HMD62 for measuring humidity and temperature and TMD62 for measuring temperature only. Both the duct-mounted transmitters are robust and reliable with an all-metal, IP-66 rated body, designed for use in demanding HVAC and light industrial applications.

They are said to be as dependable as before with better accuracy. HMD62 has all common humidity parameters available: dew point, wet bulb, enthalpy, absolute humidity, mixing ratio. All these parameters can be selected using DIP-switches. The transmitters are resistant to chemicals and dust. Field adjustment is easy with the high precision trimmers or using the Vaisala HUMICAP Hand-held Humidity and Temperature Meter HM70 and configuration can be done using the Vaisala Insight PC Software. HMD60 series transmitters provide state-of-the-art stability and environmental resistance thanks to the Vaisala HUMICAP R2 sensor.
