Anti-crush system for MEWPs
The new A-R-C-Angel (Anti-Rear-Crush) Safety System from Weston Handling Consultancy can be fitted to Mobile Aerial Work Platforms (MEWPs) to provide protection in front of, behind, to the sides, above, and at near proximity to the operator.
The A-R-C-Angel uses the company's modular ACKBelt anti-crush system to protect both operator and operator cage. The ACKBelt is easily customised, fits any vehicle, and has components that are easily added or replaced.
A hook-on control box offers either independent powering and multiple impact alarms, or can be linked to the MEWP's own anti-crush control system.
Telematic reporting is offered to enhance management control and added security.
ACKBelt systems fitted on a MEWP cage are 100% compatible with ACKBelt Systems for a MEWP's truck chassis, creating a complete protection system.
