Approved installer, Vent-Tech, installed an evaporative cooling unit with minimal disruption and at a fraction of the cost of a traditional AC system.

The EcoCooler unit was ducted into a heat recovery unit on the roof to keep offices at a steady 21°C all year round while using very little energy/carbon.

Andrew Edge, project manager materials and processes, LM Wind Power, says: “We are able to achieve a constant comfortable temperature within our offices. The fresh air being pumped in from outside means the environment is much more pleasant to work in. We are delighted with the end result.”

EcoCooling will demonstrate how it is possible to save 90% in energy costs through evaporative cooling at: The Energyst Event, National Motorcycle Museum, Birmingham (1 to 2 May), and Edie Live Event, NEC Birmingham (21 to 22 May).
