The Manufacturing
Technologies
Association is
launching a special
awards event to
highlight successes
from across the
world of
engineering-based manufacturing.

The Manufacturing Industry
Awards are being delivered in
collaboration with the sector’s other
Trade Associations plus the headline
sponsor, Lloyds Banking Group
Commercial. Shortlisted entries will
be judged by the industry through
an online voting system and winners
will be announced at a
ceremony on 9 March
2011.

Award categories are:
Young Engineer of the
Year, Drive for Sustainable
Manufacturing, Best
Training Scheme, Best
Supplier Partnership, and Most
Dynamic Sub-contractor. There is
also the AMTRI Scholarship, a
£10,000 fund intended to promote
excellence in machinery development
and engineering manufacturing.
