At the same time, due to its easy biodegradability according to OECD 301B, it can be used in ecologically sensitive areas.

The absence of zinc and other heavy metal-based additives also makes the oil safer for the environment by minimising the risk of permanent damage to land and aquatic organisms or water resources. ENVIRON MV R offers high levels of hydrolysis resistance, which is not possible with alternatives based on vegetable oil and synthetic ester. This is because these decompose easily in the presence of water, and service life is shortened and there is a risk of damage to the equipment and of corrosion.
